Day Six in Russia
Sunday, April 16th, 2006

We woke up very early this morning and left immediately for St. Petersburg. Yuli and his wife met us at the hotel to say goodbye. They are so sweet. In fact, his wife packed all of us a breakfast to go. It was adorable. We arrived in St. Petersburg in the afternoon and went immediately to the community center to meet with the Sunday school. There were about fifteen kids ages 5-12 all in one small room. They were so cute and fun to work with. We led a plague mobile project that the kids loved and then had a small break where we prepared for the night seder. At night we led a group of 30 people from the Netzer youth group of 18-25 year olds. We were more of the rabbi’s helpers then leaders which was fine for us because we were tired from our trip to Murmansk and the morning’s activities.
