Last Day in Russia
Tuesday, April 18th, 2006

We woke up this morning and had breakfast at the rabbi’s home with his adorable kids. We said goodbye to him and thanked him and left to tour around the Hermitage Museum. It was beautiful and overwhelming. We could have spent weeks there but instead we had two hours. From there we left for the airport. It was hard saying goodbye to St. Petersburg and even harder to say goodbye to Zina, who we all had become so close to. We are thankful because she comes to Jerusalem in two weeks for a conference and we will be able to spend Shabbat with her, we hope!
